Best Ads of Superbowl 51

I'll be honest here. I only watch Superbowl for the ads. I don't even really care too much about the Halftime Show. This year's Superbowl 51 had an interesting mix of sentimental and lightly political that overruled the usually funny outings from some of the big players. There was clearly something different in the air at this year's big game, and Americana was the dominant theme.

Tangerine Chequing Account Review

I continue to use my Tangerine account as a free secondary account in which to manage my daily spending money. Because of it's unlimited Interac debit transactions I am able to use it for as many small purchases as I want without incurring additional fees. The recent introduction of the tap payment function has also had me using this card more. I keep only a relatively small amount in the account so in the event that I lose it or it is stolen my losses would be minimal. It is also a great way to create weekly or monthly spending budgets in a separate account. This is kind of like the cash envelope strategy updated to modern times.

IPDIT NO.2 — Basil and Bob: A Man and His Land Rover

Simon Whitfield has a boyish curiosity about pretty much everything, and a genuine enthusiasm to match. When the neighbour down the street mentioned his Land Rover Defender, it was all that could be done to get out for a ride around the peninsula of Victoria with Bob and his prized British motor car Basil. IPDIT NO.2 — Basil and Bob: A Man and His Land Rover

IPDIT NO.1 — Impromptu Chicken Coop Jam With Ari Neufeld & Rich St. Onge

This was the unknowing first episode of IPDIT. I took my camera out to visit my friend Ari Neufeld, who at the time lived in Kaleden, BC and recorded music in a modified chicken coop. Cello player Rich St. Onge was there to perform some gigs with Ari, and I happened to catch this brilliant piece of magic as I crouched in the corner on the floor. Sometimes it’s the simple things that resonate most.
